Job Summary
Processing and closing SBA loan requests, the full-time California Licensed SBA Closer will ensure compliance with SBA regulations and bank policies while managing documentation and coordinating with various stakeholders in a hybrid/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process new and existing SBA loan requests, ensuring adherence to SBA SOP guidelines and accuracy in loan data entry
- Prepare and review loan closing documents, verifying all conditions are satisfied prior to funding
- Coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, and title companies to resolve pre-closing issues and ensure timely loan disbursement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of related experience in SBA or commercial banking
- Proficiency with E-Tran for SBA loan submissions and reporting
- Strong understanding of SBA loan programs and loan documentation requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
