California Licensed Security Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity practice, the full-time California Licensed Security Architect will design and implement advanced security solutions, provide strategic client engagement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cybersecurity architectures addressing complex security challenges, focusing on solutions like Zero Trust and advanced threat protection
• Lead initiatives to establish best practices in cybersecurity and influence organizational strategy through thought leadership
• Conduct in-depth client assessments and present tailored, high-value security solutions that align with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture, engineering, and strategy
• Experience with technologies such as Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks, along with advanced certifications like CISSP or CISM
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK) and a strong understanding of risk management and compliance
• Proven ability to facilitate high-level discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders in collaborative security solutions
• Significant experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity best practices
