California Licensed Security Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced California Licensed Security Engineers will find a remote opportunity focused on implementing, integrating, and improving security controls across enterprise applications, identity, endpoint, network, and data-security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enhance preventive security controls across enterprise systems, translating security requirements into operational protections
• Develop and maintain security automation using programming languages and tools to improve control enforcement and operational efficiency
• Conduct continuous validation of security controls, identifying gaps and partnering with system owners for remediation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering, enterprise security, or related fields
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining security controls in production environments
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python, Go, or similar languages
• Experience with security controls across multiple domains, such as identity, endpoint, SaaS, cloud, and network protection
• Ability to translate approved security requirements into effective preventive controls and validate their effectiveness
