California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will manage complex general ledger activities, assist in the period close process, and prepare financial statements and reports while working onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Assists in monthly, quarterly, and annual period close processes as assigned
• Designs and maintains internal controls and prepares various financial reports
• Reviews and reconciles general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field from an accredited college or university
• Three years of progressively responsible accounting experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Power Automate and Power BI
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
