Job Summary
Managing financial operations for a manufacturing company, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will lead financial close activities, analyze variances, and partner with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial close activities, prepare journal entries, and reconcile ledger and inventory sub-ledgers
- Analyze purchase price, labor, overhead, yield, and process order variances
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency and explain financial results
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Recent, relevant experience within the past 5-10 years
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or active candidate progress
- Ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial operations leaders
