California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel for a full-time remote position specializing in landlord-tenant litigation, who will manage case strategy, handle discovery and motion practice, and guide cases toward resolution in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop case themes and manage all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while working as part of a team

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school and active California Bar license
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in landlord-tenant and habitability matters
• Proficiency in managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial preparation
• Experience with insurance defense matters is preferred
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
