California Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will manage a diverse caseload in insurance defense and civil litigation, taking ownership of cases from strategy development to trial preparation, while working in a hybrid environment based out of the Novato office.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and manage client relationships
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active California Bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in deposition and trial preparation
- Experience in insurance defense preferred
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
