Job Summary
To support a growing litigation practice, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
- Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
- Mentor and provide direction to less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school
- Active bar license in the State of California
- 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
