Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the remote position will manage substantive insurance defense and civil litigation matters, focusing on case development, client relationships, and trial preparation while working collaboratively with a team of experienced attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and strategies while managing client communications
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys within the team
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved school
- Active California Bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, with a focus on trial preparation and deposition
- Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in handling insurance defense matters preferred
