Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel with 8+ years of insurance defense experience, the full-time role will focus on leading complex litigation, managing case strategies, and mentoring junior attorneys, primarily in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage case strategies through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
• Handle depositions, mediations, and motion practice while maintaining direct client and carrier relationships
• Mentor and develop less experienced attorneys, contributing to the growth of the Los Angeles team

Required qualifications

• Active California Bar license
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense matters
• Significant experience in case management, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation
• Proven ability to cultivate client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and carriers
• Leadership mentality with a strong interest in mentoring others
