Job Summary
Seeking an experienced California Licensed Senior Counsel, the part-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely while managing litigation cases from strategy through resolution, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Develop compelling case themes and maintain routine communications with clients
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys while cultivating client relationships
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved school and active California Bar license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
- Strong independent thinking and minimal supervision capability
