Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, a California Licensed Senior Data Engineer will build and modify high-complexity ETL pipelines and alerting systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a legal environment.
Key responsibilities
- Building ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation
- Collaborating with attorneys and Data Scientists to determine data needs and relevant tables
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to launch new systems and products, including documentation and stakeholder management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL (Presto, Postgres, MySQL, etc.) and Python
- Experience using pipelining tools (e.g., Airflow, Dataswarm) for building ETL pipelines
- Proven track record of leading data engineering efforts on large projects with diverse stakeholders
