California Licensed Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To solve meaningful clinical problems, the full-time California Licensed Senior Data Scientist will direct data-intensive research and development remotely, applying machine learning and computational statistics to large clinical datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and carry out data-intensive research and development efforts
• Develop new decision-support tools using techniques from machine learning and computational statistics
• Analyze large clinical datasets to address significant clinical challenges

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and at least five years of experience in data science research, or a Master's degree/Ph.D. with at least three years of experience
• Proficiency in Python and Pandas, along with machine learning libraries such as Keras and Sci-kit Learn
• Familiarity with modern relational databases like MySQL and SQL Server
• Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and NoSQL databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
