Job Summary

As a key member of the team, the full-time California Licensed Senior Donation Coordinator will manage donor referrals, coordinate cases, and engage with grieving families in a remote environment, ensuring every opportunity for tissue donation is maximized.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound referral calls and emails, conducting preliminary medical screenings of potential donors
• Train and mentor Donation Coordinators on effective communication strategies and Donation Discussions, ensuring compliance with policies
• Serve as the primary liaison among various stakeholders to coordinate the donation process and provide support to grieving families

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with approaching grieving families and securing tissue authorizations
• Demonstrated excellence in all essential functions of the Donation Coordinator roles
• Advanced knowledge of disease processes and related conditions
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in biological sciences preferred
• Ability to effectively maneuver through multiple computer programs while maintaining focus and attention to detail
