Job Summary
Leading California's material characterization initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Senior Manager will oversee the implementation of the 2027 statewide characterization study, ensuring quality assurance, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements while managing a team and collaborating with various stakeholders remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operational protocols for material composition audits and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with teams to manage data integrity and propose QA/QC processes for characterization data
- Lead strategic program initiatives, balancing resource allocation and regulatory compliance across California characterization efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Waste Management, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in material characterization, recycling, or environmental data management
- Proven track record of leading QA/QC and multi-site data initiatives
- Strong leadership experience in cross-functional programs involving operations and regulatory coordination
- Experience negotiating contract terms and managing relationships with suppliers and contractors
