Job Summary
Reviewing credit applications and structuring loan requests, the full-time California Licensed Senior Underwriter will analyze financial information, mentor junior underwriters, and ensure timely loan approvals in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review loan application packages to determine eligibility and necessary documentation
- Underwrite transactions and prepare packages for third-party approval
- Coach and mentor other SBA Credit Underwriters to enhance team performance
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in SBA and commercial financing
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
- Expert knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex transactions
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
