Job Summary
Self-managing and technically skilled, the full-time California Licensed Service Technician will provide on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance for ultrapure water purification systems while traveling 80-100% of the time across customer sites in various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of ultrapure water purification equipment
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Identify and promote proactive service opportunities to enhance customer outcomes
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training, with 4-6 years of electrical/mechanical equipment experience
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
- Working knowledge of industrial workplace safety and preventive maintenance techniques
- Must be located in the San Francisco Bay area and comfortable with 80-100% travel
- Previous knowledge of water purification equipment and processes is a plus
