California Licensed SIU Investigator

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed SIU Investigator to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for investigating potentially fraudulent auto and homeowners insurance claims, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing investigation documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex claims to identify potential fraud indicators and develop investigation strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including law enforcement, throughout the investigation process
• Document investigations thoroughly, maintaining accurate records and preparing clear reports on findings

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of claims experience with strong knowledge of property and bodily injury claims
• 3+ years of experience in Special Investigations Unit (SIU) or insurance fraud investigation
• Proven ability to conduct thorough and effective fraud investigations
• Strong understanding of insurance contracts, claims practices, and state regulations
