California Licensed Social Work Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the California Social Work Education Capacity Expansion grant, the full-time Social Work Recruitment and Placement Coordinator will manage outreach, recruitment, and student field placements in underserved communities, collaborating closely with faculty and stakeholders while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Strategic Partnership team to conduct outreach and recruit students from underrepresented populations
• Coordinate the field placement process, ensuring students are matched with appropriate sites and providing support throughout the placement journey
• Identify and assess potential field agencies in underserved areas to serve as placement sites for MSW students

Required qualifications

• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited program
• Preferred 2+ years of experience placing MSW students for field practicum in a university setting
• Experience in outreach or student recruitment events is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent Google Workspace tools
• Ability to work collaboratively and exercise independent judgment in an academic environment
