California Licensed SOX Compliance Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed SOX Compliance Manager, the full-time remote position will manage SOX business process control workstreams, serve as a subject matter expert, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to assess impacts of changes on SOX business process controls
- Design and implement controls for complex business process areas, driving projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams for SOX planning, testing, and compliance education
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and related IT components
- Experience in compliance or audit at a publicly traded company preferred
