California Licensed Staff Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a distributed 24x7 operations team, the full-time California Licensed Staff Security Engineer will conduct security analysis and forensics, respond to high-priority alerts, and contribute to automations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to security incidents and alerts, ensuring effective containment and resolution
- Conduct analysis and forensics across various data sources to assess the impact of security events
- Develop and implement solutions leveraging AI and agentic platforms to enhance incident response capabilities
Required qualifications
- Active or current US GOV Secret clearance eligibility; Top Secret preferred
- Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of Incident Response experience or Master's Degree with 5+ years of experience
- Cloud security expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure, with proficiency in the others
- Proficiency in AI/LLM and experience with building agentic systems in a security context
- Experience with Enterprise Security, SaaS applications, and knowledge of SIEM and SOAR
