Job Summary
To support the Aerospace Systems Technical Research and Operations Services (ASTROS) program, the full-time California Licensed Subcontracts Manager will oversee subcontracting and procurement activities, manage a team, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and engage with cross-functional teams, while working remotely with flexibility for onsite requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of subcontract and procurement professionals, ensuring timely and compliant execution of requirements
- Oversee the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including planning, negotiation, award, and administration
- Ensure compliance with ASRC Federal's purchasing system and federal regulations, while providing strategic guidance to program management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, contracts, engineering, or related field; master's preferred
- 8+ years of experience in federal subcontract management for complex technical programs
- Strong expertise with FAR, DFARS, and CPSR requirements
- Proven experience in negotiating high-value subcontract agreements
- US citizenship is required to support this contract
