California Licensed Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support Pathology and Genetics applications, the full-time California Licensed Systems Administrator V will manage complex system configurations, oversee application-specific issues, and drive incident management processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducts business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to policies and developing work plans to meet organizational goals
• Collaborates with technical teams to resolve system problems and communicates with users to prioritize customer requirements
• Plans and performs complex system configuration, monitoring service support, and leading hardware and software changes in production environments

Required qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in end-to-end application/infrastructure production support
• At least two (2) years in a leadership role working with IT or operational teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum eight (8) years working in IT or operations
• Experience in the administration and custom configuration of large off-the-shelf applications or software packages preferred
