California Licensed Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support the Pathology and Genetics team, the full-time California Licensed Systems Administrator will manage complex system configurations, oversee application support, and drive incident management processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducts business-specific projects and oversees adherence to procedures and policies while coordinating resources to meet organizational goals
• Collaborates with technical teams to resolve system problems and communicates with users to prioritize requirements and maintain continuous improvement
• Plans and performs complex system configurations, monitors support services, and provides technical administration for production environments

Required qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in end-to-end application/infrastructure production support
• At least two (2) years in a leadership role working with IT or operational teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Social Science, Education, Business, Health Care, or a related field, along with a minimum of eight (8) years in IT or operations
• Experience in the administration and custom configuration of large off-the-shelf applications or software packages is preferred
• Five (5) years of system administration experience is preferred
