California Licensed Telehealth Nurse

Job Summary

Providing remote telephone triage and health advice, the part-time to full-time California Licensed Telehealth Nurse will assist callers in making timely medical decisions while utilizing clinical judgment and protocols to ensure appropriate care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and advice to callers to assist them in making timely medical decisions
• Exercise clinical judgment in combination with protocols to determine the appropriate level of care for patients
• Document confidential medical records promptly and accurately according to company standards

Required qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Nursing program
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in relevant areas such as ER/Urgent Care or ICU
• An active RN license in California and the candidate's home state
• Previous telephone triage experience using electronic triage software is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and computer skills within a Windows environment
