Job Summary
Providing remote telephone triage and health advice, the part-time to full-time California Licensed Telehealth Nurse will assist callers in making timely medical decisions while utilizing clinical judgment and protocols to deliver quality nursing care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide telephone triage and advice to assist callers in making timely medical decisions
- Exercise clinical judgment and utilize protocols to determine appropriate patient care dispositions
- Document confidential medical records promptly and accurately according to company standards
Required qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Nursing program
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in relevant specialties
- Active California RN license required, along with an active license in the home state
- Previous telephone triage experience and familiarity with electronic triage software preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish or proficiency in another language is considered an asset
