Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth initiative, a part-time California Licensed Telehealth Provider will deliver primary care services through virtual modalities, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-ups while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide primary care services through telehealth, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- Document telehealth encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and coordinate care across various healthcare services
- Educate patients on their healthcare plans and facilitate referrals to in-person services when necessary
Required qualifications
- Current California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in telehealth technology and electronic health record systems
- Ability to participate in federally funded programs such as Medicare and Medicaid
