Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, a part-time California Licensed Telemedicine Physician will provide urgent care services remotely, treating patients across a full spectrum of ages while working 6-12 hour shifts, 2-4 times per month.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services, treating 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics
- Manage 6-12 hour shifts, working 2-4 shifts per month as an independent contractor
- Utilize a valid CA DEA to fill and refill prescriptions for patients
Required qualifications:
- Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Program or Emergency Medicine Program
- Active and unrestricted CA Medical License in good standing
- DEA Certificate in good standing with no restrictions
