California Licensed Trauma RN Coordinator

Job Summary

To enhance performance improvement initiatives, the part-time California Licensed Trauma RN Coordinator will manage advanced clinical practice, quality improvement, and educational efforts for both hospital and pre-hospital staff while collaborating with the Trauma Program Manager in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of performance improvement processes and quality assurance for the trauma program
• Provide education and training to hospital and pre-hospital employees on trauma care standards
• Collaborate with the Trauma Program Manager to ensure compliance with clinical practices and protocols

Required qualifications

• Current California RN license with ACLS and TNCC certifications required within one year of hire
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of four years of experience in critical care or emergency nursing, preferably in a trauma center
• Experience with performance improvement processes related to trauma programs
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
