California Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Providing professional telephone triage nursing services, the full-time California Licensed Triage Nurse will evaluate patient symptoms, determine urgency, facilitate care, and offer medical advice while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patient symptoms and determine the urgency of conditions
• Provide medical advice and facilitate next steps in patient care
• Document nursing services and communicate changes in patient conditions to healthcare providers

Required qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing in California
• Two years of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and clinical documentation skills
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting and/or telephone triage is preferred
