Key responsibilities
- Handle all phases of Workers' Compensation litigation from initial evaluation through resolution
- Partner with claims professionals to develop case strategies and conduct discovery
- Mentor colleagues and serve as a technical resource on complex litigation matters
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor and a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience
- Member in good standing of the California State Bar
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe, and legal research platforms like Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims environment, and insurance defense litigation
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
