Job Summary

Evaluating standard and nonstandard data, the full-time salaried California Licensed Underwriter II will analyze risk, support quality improvement efforts, and collaborate with internal teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze data to understand premium, claim, exposure, and population risk, developing actionable insights
• Process account activities and contribute to rate negotiations while collaborating with internal departments
• Engage with the external market to communicate underwriting approaches and build relationships with customers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of experience in Underwriting or a related area
• Experience with data analysis and financial evaluation
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and underwriting processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data quality assessment
