Providing essential support to the Care Management team, the part-time California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant will work remotely during night and evening shifts, performing complex tasks related to patient assessment and management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Care Management team in coordinating patient care activities
- Perform complex clerical tasks to support overall team functions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient management
Required qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
- 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
- 3 years of clerical and computer experience
- 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
- Completion of some college-level coursework or a High School Diploma/GED is preferred
