California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Utilization Management Assistant will support the Care Management team by performing complex tasks related to patient assessment and management in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Care Management team in coordinating patient care
• Assist with tasks identified during initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure effective care management

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; some college-level coursework preferred
