Job Summary

To support the Care Management team, the per diem Senior Utilization Management Assistant will perform complex tasks related to patient assessment and management while working remotely during 8-hour day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to the Care Management team in coordinating patient care
• Assist in the overall functions and activities identified during patient assessments
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient management

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
