Job Summary

Providing essential support to the Care Management team, the part-time Senior Utilization Management Assistant will perform complex tasks related to patient assessment and management in a remote, per diem capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Care Management team with coordination of patient care activities
• Perform complex tasks related to patient assessments and ongoing management
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure effective care delivery

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
