California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time evening basis, the California Licensed Utilization Management Assistant will support the Care Management team by performing complex tasks related to patient assessment and management in a healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to the Care Management team in coordinating patient care
• Assist with tasks related to the initial and ongoing assessment of patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective management of care activities

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
• 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
• 3 years of clerical and computer experience
• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care
