Job Summary
Serving as a trusted strategic technology advisor, the full-time California Licensed Virtual CIO will develop technology strategies and roadmaps, manage client relationships, and guide IT investments in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead technology strategy meetings and business reviews, communicating findings and investment priorities to clients
- Develop and maintain strategic technology roadmaps and IT budgets aligned with client business objectives
- Evaluate client technology environments to identify risks and opportunities for modernization and improvement
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional information technology experience with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and lifecycle management
- Demonstrated client-facing experience in a consultative or advisory role, particularly with executive stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, cloud infrastructure, and modern business technology solutions
- Experience in developing strategic technology recommendations and supporting organizational initiatives
- Relevant IT training or professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
