Job Summary
To support middle and high school students in need, the part-time hourly California Licensed Wellness Coach will provide remote coaching via chat, audio, and video, helping students navigate challenges such as academic pressure and personal conflicts while working flexible hours based on student demand.
Key responsibilities
- Run focused coaching sessions to help students set goals, solve problems, and build resilience
- Work effectively with students from diverse and historically underserved communities
- Handle high-stakes conversations using clear crisis protocols with support from licensed Coach Supervisors
Required qualifications
- California Wellness Coach Certification or eligibility through education or workforce pathways
- Associate's degree or higher
- At least 4 years of experience in mental health, youth work, or coaching
- A reliable computer, internet at 50+ Mbps download, and a private, distraction-free workspace
- U.S. residence for the length of the contract
