California Licensed WIC General Manager

Job Summary

Driving growth and overseeing financial performance, the remote California Licensed WIC General Manager will lead pursuits in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Early Intervention (EI) portfolio, manage client relationships, and guide product modernization efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead WIC and EI pursuits from opportunity identification to contract award, coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the process
• Monitor market trends and policy changes to inform portfolio strategy and investment decisions
• Manage portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, resource planning, and executive reporting

Required qualifications

• Direct experience with WIC or Early Intervention programs; experience across both is preferred
• Proven track record in leading competitive pursuits and working with cross-functional teams on proposals and negotiations
• Strong understanding of public-sector or regulated environments, procurement, and compliance
• Experience managing financial performance and business risks for programs or portfolios
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, public administration, technology, or a related field is preferred
