Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster, the full-time temporary position will manage complex, high-exposure claims, providing technical guidance and supervisory support while working in a hybrid remote environment near Glendale, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed investigations and maintain action plans for complex claims, identifying fraud indicators and coordinating with specialists
• Lead the management of medical care and vocational rehabilitation for high-complexity claims, ensuring effective return-to-work strategies
• Independently direct litigation processes on complex files, negotiate settlements, and manage multi-lien resolutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of workers' compensation claims experience, including 5 years of independent indemnity management
• CA SIP certificate required; professional designations such as AIC, ARM, WCCP, or CPCU are advantageous
• Deep expertise in California workers' compensation statutes and experience with complex litigation processes
• Proficiency in claims administration platforms and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior adjusters and manage client relationships at a senior level
