Job Summary

As a senior technical expert, the full-time California Licensed Workers Compensation Adjuster will manage complex, high-exposure claims including catastrophic injuries and multi-party litigation, providing guidance and support to clients and colleagues in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform detailed investigations on complex claims and maintain strategic resolution plans
  • Lead medical management for high-complexity claims and coordinate with specialists for optimal outcomes
  • Direct the litigation process for complex files, including negotiations and settlement authority decisions
Required qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of WC claims experience with 5 years in independent indemnity management, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of independent WC indemnity experience
  • Active adjuster license in applicable state(s) required; CA SIP certificate necessary for CA files
  • Deep expertise in California WC statutes and experience with claims administration platforms
  • Proven experience directing complex litigation and managing catastrophic injury claims
  • Strong client relationship management skills and ability to mentor junior adjusters
