Job Summary
As a senior technical expert, the full-time California Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will manage complex, high-exposure claims, provide technical guidance, and serve as a resource for clients and colleagues, with the option for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations and maintain strategic resolution plans for complex claims
- Lead medical management efforts and coordinate vocational rehabilitation for high-complexity cases
- Direct the litigation process for complex files, including negotiations and settlement conferences
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of workers' compensation claims experience, including 5 years of independent indemnity management
- Active adjuster license in applicable state(s) required; CA SIP certificate for California files
- Comprehensive knowledge of public entity liability claims and self-insured programs
- Deep expertise in California workers' compensation statutes and multi-jurisdiction experience preferred
- Proven ability to mentor junior adjusters and manage client relationships at a senior level
