Job Summary
To support complex claims management, the full-time California Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will handle high-exposure cases, provide technical guidance, and lead litigation processes while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform complex claims investigations and maintain detailed plans of action for high-exposure cases
- Lead medical management and vocational rehabilitation efforts for catastrophic claims
- Direct the litigation process, including negotiating settlements and managing legal strategies for complex files
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of WC claims experience, including 5 years of independent indemnity management, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of WC indemnity experience
- Active adjuster license in applicable state(s); CA SIP certificate required for California files
- Deep expertise in California WC statutes and experience with claims administration platforms
- Proven ability to mentor junior adjusters and manage client relationships at a senior level
- Experience in directing complex litigation and familiarity with catastrophic injury management
