Job Summary
To support youth mental health initiatives, the part-time California Licensed Youth Wellness Coach will provide empathetic coaching to students in grades 4-12 through chat-based and audio/video sessions, working remotely on a contract basis during flexible hours that align with student demand.
Key responsibilities
- Provide responsive coaching to young people navigating stress, relationships, identity, and academic pressure
- Support students from diverse backgrounds with cultural awareness and follow established crisis protocols
- Engage in ongoing training and adapt to new tools and processes as the organization evolves
Required qualifications
- California Wellness Coach Certification or eligibility via Workforce or Education pathways
- Minimum 1 year of coaching experience with proof of certification
- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer and internet connection (50+ Mbps download)
