Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the California Loan Servicing Specialist will manage post-closing duties related to various loan servicing functions, including loan boarding, payment processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Process loan documentation and disburse funds at closing, ensuring accurate data entry in the loan accounting system
- Handle all monetary transactions, including payments, advances, and loan maintenance activities
- Review daily reports to ensure GL information balances and clear non-posted transactions as necessary
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in loan processing and accounting
- Proficiency in loan accounting and servicing functions, particularly in commercial and real estate lending
- Strong knowledge of banking laws, policies, and procedures
- Ability to analyze and resolve work-related problems effectively
- Familiarity with personal computers and various software applications, including financial systems software
