California MVA/TPL Resolution Specialist
Job Summary
Experienced professionals will find a fully remote opportunity as a California MVA/TPL Resolution Specialist II, responsible for independently investigating, negotiating, and resolving complex hospital accounts related to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Third-Party Liability (TPL) claims.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage complex MVA/TPL accounts from initial investigation through final resolution
- Communicate and negotiate directly with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, attorneys, and patients regarding account resolution
- Analyze and evaluate settlement proposals, developing counteroffers and recommendations based on account circumstances
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in MVA/TPL, bodily injury claims, or complex healthcare reimbursement
- Direct hospital or provider-side revenue cycle experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate claims and identify available insurance coverage
- Working knowledge of hospital liens and lien-related reimbursement processes
- California MVA/TPL and hospital lien experience strongly preferred
