California Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary

Joining a global Patient Experience team, the remote California Patient Care Coordinator will manage patient interactions through scheduling, medication refills, and lab coordination while ensuring a personalized and supportive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls, texts, and emails in English and Spanish with empathy and accuracy
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars while following up with patients
• Coordinate lab orders, prescription refills, and external referrals, maintaining patient information in the EHR system

Required qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare administration or patient coordination
• Tech-savvy with experience using EHR systems and communication platforms
• Familiarity with US healthcare operations and HIPAA privacy standards (preferred)
• Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace
