Job Summary
Independently managing multi-state payroll operations, the full-time Senior Payroll Administrator will oversee end-to-end payroll processes, serve as the subject matter expert for payroll systems, and drive benefits administration, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing and processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Directing system configuration and reporting as the ADP Workforce Now Super User, while implementing improvements to payroll functionality
- Managing payroll tax compliance and reporting, including jurisdiction setup and timely remittance of filings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 years of experience in payroll administration, with at least 5 years focused on California payroll
- 3 years of experience as an advanced or Super User in ADP Workforce Now
- Experience with 401(k) retirement plans and payroll-related benefit deductions
- Knowledge of payroll-related compliance activities, including EEO-1 reporting and Form 5500
