Job Summary
Collaborating closely with physician evaluators, the full-time California Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure medical-legal reports are complete, accurate, and compliant with statutory requirements while supporting timely processing for billing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Review medical-legal reports according to QA Best Practice Guidelines
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of all Medical-Legal reports
- Consult with physicians regarding findings on impairment and assist in preparing them for depositions
Required qualifications:
- Experience with California Medical-Legal Workers' Compensation reporting
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology across various specialties
- Expertise in MS Word and strong proficiency in typing and editing
- Thorough understanding of AMA Guides (5th Edition) and California Labor codes
- Experience in reviewing QME, AME, and IME reports
